"A poet is a painter in his way, he draws to the life, but in another kind; we draw the nobler part, the soul and the mind; the pictures of the pen shall outlast those of the pencil, and even worlds themselves"
- Aphra Behn
Hi, I'm Natasha.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember. Literally. I won my first short story competition in primary school; in high school I wrote and edited a musical which my choir performed; and in college, after failing to find any happiness studying marketing, I listened to my tutor's advice and enrolled in an Humanities college to study English literature and creative writing. In 2020 I completed my Master'sin Medieval and Early Modern Textual Cultures (which is a fancy term for Medieval and Early Modern English literature), at the University of East Anglia, where I honed my research skills in preparation for embarking fully on my life's ambition: to become a historical fiction novelist and screenwriter.
